Nintendo and Target have teamed up to give people a fun and invigorating way to keep their New Year's resolutions. On weekends from Jan. 16-31, shoppers who visit select Target stores nationwide will encounter the Wii Fit™ Plus Experience in the parking lot or at the entrances of the stores. Each location will feature eight kiosks where visitors can get some "feet-on" time with the Wii Fit Plus software in an atmosphere reminiscent of a yoga studio.

Visitors will be able to try out the various balance games found in Wii Fit Plus, which uses the Wii Balance Board™ accessory to combine fun and fitness. Wii Fit Plus includes the original Wii Fit activities as well as more than 20 new activities, customizable workout routines and even a way to track the number of calories burned. Nintendo and Target ambassadors will be on hand to provide visitors with demos, information and free healthy snacks from Archer Farms, a food brand found only at Target.

While supplies last, visitors who complete the Wii Fit Plus demo will be given a Target GiftCard valued at $15 that can be applied toward any Target purchase. Wii Fit Plus with the Wii Balance Board accessory is available at Target for a suggested retail price of $99.99, while Wii Fit owners who want to upgrade to Wii Fit Plus can buy the disc alone at a suggested retail price of $19.99.
